Snow Days March 1, 2009

I forgot to post these pictures. These are all in our back yard, off our back deck, March 1, 2009. It was so beautiful. It only lasted the day but we made the most of it. Too busy playing to take any more pictures.

Kegan is 18

Kegan turned 18 March 16, 2009.

Reality will soon set in. Nothing really to great about turning 18.

Childhood G O N E! Adulthood begins and with it brings all the responsibility we have been teaching him about these past 18 years.

Our prayer for him is that he always remembers that he is a Christian young man and that he will walk W I T H the Lord all the days of his life.

I thank God for putting this boy in my life, as a baby. He filled my heart with such joy for so many years. God, through Kegan, gave me far more than I ever deserved. One thing about Grandparents is, we all know what a gift grandchildren can be. Kegan's plans include being a rescue swimmer for the Coast Guard.

Road Trip

Road Trips

During School Means School Work Anyway. It also means music practice and we take all instruments that can fit in a large van. Cello, violin, clarinet, and keyboard.
Homeschool or not, the work goes on. We do love the Road Trips. Almost as much as our new little cousins. NOT!

Tryston was really the winner of hearts. Alex would hardly have anything to do with anyone except Tryston and Holden was "his"
for sure!

Tryston started Alexis on the keyboard that he brought along to keep up with his practice. She thought no one could play as nicely as she. I bet she hated to see it go when we left.

Here is our sweet baby boy. His hair looks a bit more red in the picture than it really is. Actually it is more blond, not sure why it
looks red.

He is such a sweet baby with all his cooing and gooing.

We miss them both so much.

Going back shortly after Easter.

Here we have Mr. Thomas Holden, with Ariana then with Tryston and finally with Daddy. Our newest Grandson. He is perfect in every way.

We took a trip, spent a week and had the greatest time. We were able to see Alex again and spend a little more time with her. Tryst gave her a few pointers on the keyboard but she had NO use for the violin. It was so nice to spend time with Damon and Erin also and we gave them the sleep they so dearly wanted. We were more than happy to get up for some extra time with Holden.

OUR GOD IS AN AWESOME GOD!!!!

Since the day these babies left our home on May 24, 2008 we have prayed dillegently for their return.

On February 4, 2009 we were allowed this visit with them. It was the first time we have seen them since last May. You can scroll down and see what they looked like then. Not too much change.

Today, it appears if they will be returned to us and possibly our's to adopt. That, of course is up to our Lord. We are doing some mighty praying and hope you will join us.

We believe we can give these children the home they so richly deserve. They have been through enough and deserve it to end NOW!

Please join us in praying and asking God if it is in His will, these children, Dakota, Jimmy and Nate will come home.

Thomas Holden Has Arrived

Have not been blessed with pictures just yet but,,,
we have a new grandson.
Mr. Thomas Holden has arrived. He came to our family on January 22, 2009, weighing in at 7 pounds and 2 ounces. Holden is 20 inches long. Erin and Damon are doing fine and Alex is excited out of her wits. A live baby to play with, totally awesome!

I present Mr. Cayden who will be 6 next month and his little sister Ms. Gracie who will be 3 in March 09, as well.

They are my Grandbabies, from my son Dustin and their lovely mother Erica.

Am I the luck one or what?

God has blessed us so much with all these wonderful children.
